Privacy Policy — Free Church Website Builder

Plain-English summary: We help churches see a new version of their own website in about a minute. To do that, we read the church's public website content and photos and build a preview. If you ask us to publish it or send you a copy, we ask for your email and confirm it with a one-click verification. We don't sell anyone's data. You can ask us to delete everything at any time by emailing hello@internetoutreachexperts.com.

This policy explains what Internet Outreach Experts ("we," "us," "IOE") collects when you use the free church website builder at site-builder.internetoutreachexperts.com (the "Builder"), and what we do with it.

1. Who we are

The Builder is operated by Internet Outreach Experts, a business of Dave Baker, based in Virginia, USA. If you have any question about your information, email hello@internetoutreachexperts.com.

2. What we collect, and why

a) Your church's public website content and photos

When you (or, in some cases, we — see the Terms) start a build for a church, we read that church's publicly available website — its text, page structure, and images — and use it to build a preview of a new site. We also may pull in public photos and videos the church has posted (for example, sermon videos, or public social photos after you click a button asking us to "get more from Facebook/Instagram").

Why: to build a preview that looks like your church, not a generic template. We only use these materials to build and display your preview.

b) Your email address

If you choose to publish your new site for free or download a copy, we ask for your email address and confirm it with a double opt-in: we email you a link, and you click it to verify. We use a service called Resend to send that email (see §5).

Why: to confirm you're a real person, to send you the link to your site or download, and to follow up about your site and the paid hosting upgrade. We only email people who gave us their address here.

c) Basic usage counts

We keep simple counts of how the Builder is used — for example, how many previews were built, edited, verified, or published. These are counts of events, kept so we can understand whether the tool is working.

Why: to improve the product.

d) Payment information (only if you upgrade)

If you choose to buy paid hosting, payment is handled by Stripe (see §5). We do not see or store your full card number. Stripe handles the card data directly.

3. What we do NOT do

4. How long we keep things

5. Companies that help us run the Builder

We use a small number of trusted service providers ("processors") that handle data on our behalf:

Each provider only gets what it needs to do its job.

6. The emails we send (CAN-SPAM basics)

When we email you, we follow U.S. CAN-SPAM rules:

7. Your choices and rights

If you're in a place with specific privacy laws (for example, certain U.S. states), you may have additional rights to access or delete your information; email us and we'll honor them.

8. Children

The Builder is meant for churches and their staff/volunteers — it isn't directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect information from children.

9. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. For material changes affecting people who've given us their email, we'll make a reasonable effort to notify them.
