Plain-English summary: This is a free tool that builds a preview of a new website for your church, using your church's own public materials. You keep all rights to your church's content and photos. We keep the rights to the layout and code we generate. The free version is provided "as-is," and we may take down a free published site after long inactivity. If you buy paid hosting, that's covered by its own order terms.
These Terms govern your use of the free church website builder at site-builder.internetoutreachexperts.com (the "Builder") and any free published site we host for you at /live/<slug>/ (the "Free Site"), both operated by Internet Outreach Experts ("we," "us," "IOE"). By using the Builder, you agree to these Terms.
The Builder reads a church's publicly available website content and photos and generates a preview of a new website. You can edit that preview (by clicking and by chatting with our AI editor), then either publish it for free or download a copy.
There are two ways a build gets started:
The church keeps all rights to its own content, text, logos, and photos. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of your materials to us. You're telling us we may use your church's public materials to build and show you a preview, and (if you publish) to host your Free Site.
You're responsible for making sure the church actually has the right to use the materials in its site (for example, photos it posted). If you upload a photo into the editor, you're confirming the church is allowed to use it.
The design layout, templates, generated code, and software that make up the Builder and the site it produces are ours (or our licensors'). When we generate a site for you, you get to use that generated site — but we keep the rights to the underlying templates, block library, and code. If you take a downloaded copy elsewhere, you're using our generated layout under a permission to use it for your church's own site, not a transfer of our software.
The Builder and any Free Site are provided free of charge and "as-is," without warranties of any kind. We don't promise the Builder will be error-free, always available, or that a generated site will be perfect. AI-generated content can contain mistakes — please review your site before relying on it or publishing it.
Free Sites at /live/<slug>/ are a courtesy. We may reclaim or unpublish a Free Site after a long period of inactivity, or if it's being misused. We'll make a reasonable effort to reach the email on file before removing an active site.
Don't use the Builder to build sites containing unlawful, deceptive, hateful, or infringing content, and don't try to break, overload, or abuse the service. We may refuse or remove builds that violate this.
If you choose to buy paid hosting (custom domain + hosting + AI editor), that purchase is governed by the order terms presented at checkout and handled through Stripe. These free-service Terms don't govern the paid relationship; the paid order terms do.
To the fullest extent allowed by law, IOE will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the free Builder or a Free Site, and our total liability for anything related to the free service will not exceed US $100 (or the amount you paid us for the free service, which is $0). This section does not limit anything that can't be limited under Virginia law.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute relating to the free service will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Virginia.
We may update these Terms; we'll change the date at the top. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
